2008 Rib Teams
NOTE: All rib teams have been booked for 2008
The
"SMOKIN REDNECKS" are a KCBS competition team owned and operated by
two red necks Gary and Glenna along with their trusty team they travel across
the country from as far south as Florida to north as far as Canada; from east as
far as South Carolina to west as far as Washington. Logging in over 35
competitions and events a year, they serve their award winning BBQ (Ribs,Pork,Beef
and Chicken) along with their sauces and rubs to everyone from the most
outstanding citizens to the meanest outlaws in the land.
Big
Boned BBQ Co. is committed to sharing its award winning BBQ with folks
across the country. Everyone from NASCAR fans in
Outlaw
BBQ Shack is a catering company which focuses on large scale events.

All
rib teams are required to be on site all hours and all three days of the festival!
Friday,
May 30th, 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Saturday, May 31st, 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Sunday, June
1st, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Space And Fees
n
Space size is 40’ x 40” and is outside on grass. Priority is
given based on receipt of paper work and fees.
n Rib
teams must provide their own equipment (tents, tables, chairs, supplies) and
food for their operations.
n Trash, grease, hot ash, and gray water
disposal are provided.
n Electricity
and fresh water are provided.
n On-site security
is provided by the Iredell County Sheriffs Office.
n Rib teams are expected to
provide a limited number (approximately 15 total) of complementary meals to
local law enforcement, fire and rescue teams working the event.
n Fees
are due March 31st
and are non-refundable.
